1/72, North American F-86F Sabre, Airfix+CMK

Recommended Posts

Good day, gentlemen. This is my next model. I used 3 sets of resin parts to build this model. It was very hard to put all these sets inside one plane.

Super shiny Sabre with exceptionally nice metal surfaces, looks like you've used foil?

Very attractive markings as well!

No, this is not foil. This is my favorite metallic paint - Alсlad II :).

...yes! Speaking as a Sabre-Mad Moron, anything F-86ish usually appeals to my limited sensibilities -but this is a masterpiece. I have the CMK bits which I intend to force upon the Academy kit at some time, so I won't be short on inspiration. Also good to see my faith in Alclad II holding up! :smirk:

Outstanding work!  Great photography too

Absolutely agree. The Sabre is one of my favourites and you did it justice. I practically drooled over a real one in Oshkhosh last year. Recommend a visit there. You can actually touch the real thing and talk to the pilots.

I had thought you'd already reached the peak of modelling, but this is even better! Outstanding as usual Fuad, but a step above!

Hi Fuad!!!

Congratulations for this wonderful build!!!

Have watched your nice work here and was highly impressed with the result of the ALCLAD paint you have got here, really a dream in truth. Also have watched the Resin parts you have added, really a great job but seem you have made miracles there to integrate all the resin in this small kit, real miracles, but the result is at sight: Wonderful!!!

Thank you very much for sharing,

Cheers,

It is very difficult to integrate the niches of the main chassis. It was necessary to completely grind off the walls of the fuselage. I added them from the outside with epoxy glue.
