Bugle07
Well seeing as it was Star Wars day this week, I'll put these two up for display. They're both the Revell (1/144?) Teeny cheep model that I got for a bit of fun painting. Both were painted (attacked may be a better way of putting it) with Vallejo paints and had Lifecolour weathering set washes. First one was done in a RAF Battle of Britain/ USAF Vietnam style camouflage using blu tac sausages. I'm still trying to get my hands on some roundels that would fit this scale just to finish it off. Not the greatest pictures I know but it's a camera on a phone and this was only a bit of fun for me. The other paint job was an attempt at a Russian esq air superiority camouflage. Lost my patience on masking so did some freehand an it really shows. Again it was just a bit of fun and an attempt to ease myself back into painting after 20 years off. Hope you enjoy, I had a lot of fun painting them. Geoff
Pete in Lincs
Nice to see something different. Got any more?
Thud4444
Not a huge fan of the first scheme, maybe the pics are too dark? I think that the Russian scheme looks like the Rouge One Partisans Xwing, but much better than the film version. That blue just pops don't it! Great work on the weathering on both models.

Thud, I agree the first looks very dark. I'll try and take some in natural light and see if it improves the image. 10 hours ago, Pete in Lincs said: Nice to see something different. Got any more? Pete, nothing in the pipeline at the moment, got a 1/24 Spitfire to sort out first, but these are cheap and easy so may just have to get a couple more to keep my sanity whilst fighting to beast. Maybe an Interceptor in a Luftwaffe BoB scheme? Geoff
Pete in Lincs
I've seen a snowspeeder in North Africa Luftwaffe colours (Sandspeeder) which looked pretty cool. I scratchbuilt a Ma.k Falke in Italian sand & spinach some time ago. Messing about with history/sci fi can be fun!

Yup, that's my kind of bonkers! Love it! Now that could work on an A wing... Or maybe a RN X wing?

Bugle07
There's a load of pics similar to that, tie fighter and a spitfire, AT-ST and a mk1 tank. Good old photoshop. Couple of daylight pics of the tree camo. Definitely too dark. And my pics are rubbish. But not to worry, I've remembered that I have a tie fighter in the stash. What could be done with that then...
