Arrows etc in pics.

I have tried to insert a picture as seen many times on this forum with little red arrows pointing to the point of interest but when I tried to insert it into the topic it said I had to remove formatting. The picture was taken from the net into Word 2013 and my little red arrow thingies were then inserted and the document with image was saved to my 'Onedrive'. I then opened the doc, highlighted it and copied it, opened the forum window and pasted the image into the post and when trying to save the updated topic that is when I got the formatting error message.

Any ideas please.

I am no expert, but using word might be your problem as it is not designed as a picture editor and probably is creating its own format which is not being recognised. Can I suggest trying Paint or another art programme?

Thanks I shall do so and see where that takes me.
