Cheezburger
Another of the classics has been finished. The kit came in just a stapled plastic bag with the vintage instruction sheet in Russian. The kit had no decals, so I had to conjure something up using spares. Of course it is historically unaccurate therefore! Actually, this is the first Spitfire I ever built! Gerrardandrews
Very honest model with soul, shows how these old kits can be made into something special 😊
Spitfire31
Unmistakably a Spitfire, even if the canopy looks more like a one off racing job. ;-) Splendid work with that venerable old kit! Kind regards, Joachim
Luis Alfonso
Hi Chezzburger!!! Nice to watch this old friend again in the middle of this world dominated by many more modern kits, A friend of mine has this one and I wanted to make a swap with him, but intead he swapped me the Mk. XIV without the B-1...so this one was the first Spit I wanted but the XIV was the first build and later the older Airfix IX instead, followed by Airfix I and V. I liked a lot your build, clean and wonderful, and for sure looks so resplendent that I think it was a nice encounter with old friends, oold days and wonderful times when all the models we thought were perfect!!!.... And made me remember when my friend did his. Thank you very much for sharing, Cheers, Luis Alfonso
