HL-10
Tamiya's Valentine in 1/35th scale is a beautiful little kit! It literally falls together. A straight out of the box build painted with Humbrol enamels. Really enjoyed the build and weathering. I used Tamiya's Smoke thinned down as a filter and pin wash, along with some raw umber oil paint for streaks and stains. img host img host img host img host img host img host img host img host img host Sergeant Tibbs RAC (Royal Armoured Cat) approves! img host Thanks for looking Angelo.
Bullbasket
Love the way that you've done the whiskers on that cat. Nice job on the Valentine. The weathering is really good, and I like the figures also. Are they OOTB? John.

PhilHendry
What a brilliant little model. Simple but really effective paint scheme - off the boat and into action with no time for markings - just like so many other vehicles in reality.
Badder
Superb job on a kit which I haven't seen before. (I returned to model-making after a 35yr gap so I've missed a few of the newer Tamiya kits!) It's also nice to see an enamels paint job.... all these new fangled acrylics are okay, but I still rate enamels as the better option! I particularly like the exhaust cover and the 'sand channels' with the heavy wear and rust. Very nice job indeed, sir! Now stick it in a diorama! keefr22
If Sergeant Tibbs approves, who are we to argue?! Really cracking model Angelo, superb paint & weathering - the rusty exhaust shield is tremendous! Excellent job! Keith

Chris B
I like the way you've finished this Valle. If I hadn't already got 2 AFV Club Mk 1s in the to do pile I'd be very tempted to get this Tamiya version. Chris

Ian
Beautifully done. Could be tempted to do one of these this year unless Tamiya bring-out an Aussie version of the Matilda, then all-bets-are-off !! Ian.

Buzby061
Great job, as has already been said the exhaust looks very convincing. Used to gather this feller's whiskers when they fell out until he used up the last of his 9 lives. They make good aerials. Pete
spitfire
Great job, looks the biz, I didn't even know that Tamiya made one now, when I was building armour I had to fight with Maquette's monsters. Cheers Dennis
HL-10
Thank you all very much for all the comments and compliments. I'm in the process of painting some figures to go with it for, as Badder suggested, a small diorama. Thanks again, greatly appreciated 😀
