Grab adhesive

Recommended Posts

You know the stuff your get from big DIY shops etc, brands like " sticks like ......" "Power grip" and so on, Im thinking in particular the stuff thats for none porous materials.

So If Im sticking to large curved surfaces together made form different types of plastics ( i idea what they are) and that the contours dont match so they need something of a gap filler and a glue, but would you consider using of of these products and saving the your expensive molding products for the more delicate jobs?

I'd recommend Araldite or a similar product. Not the cheapest option but once your items are stuck, they will stay that way for a very long time.

Hope this helps.

While they do stick almost anything many of these industrial bonders like 'Sticks Like' do not dry rock hard, they tend to go extremely stiff, which is not the same so if it involved sanding they may not be totally suitable.

Also, their suitability for small space applications is unknown to me, I usually use it on long lengths of wood skirting etc.
