(shame abut the 3(f) Squadron markings Though!)

I do not understand fully - can You say more?

An accuracy note for any future builds:The RAF has never used GBU 24,Also Typhoon does not carry the the RAF equivelant Paveway III(UK) weapon. should be Paveway II(UK) or Enhanced PW II(UK) or PW IV fitted. You have Put  RBF flags on the bomb station  pylons, Typhoon does not use pylon safety pins/ RBF flags on its pylons, it has a pylon safety switches instead.

Shame, I guess I was blind. In addition, the instruction introduces in error. Well, as I wrote Revell looks good only in a box.

About GBU-24 and RAF - I don't think it's the way you wrote it. Harriers tested and used in Afgan (Tellic).

Btw. At saturday buy Gbu-16 at Beskyd Show - Koprovnice and change

The RAF used Paveway III(UK) on Harrier. This bomb  looks very similar to a GBU 24 but in fact only the guidance is the same.  The warhead and tail unit are different to permit installation and arming of the british fuze system.

Don't buy GBU 16! the RAF have never used this bomb. GBU 16 is only carried by other Typhoon user countries.

I'll echo what Selwyn said. The GBU-24s in the Revell kit are closer to a UK Paveway III, but still not perfect. Paveway III (UK) was carried by Harrier over Kosovo (I think) and by Tornado over Iraq and over Libya. Not sure about Harriers in the Iraq war, and I don't think it was dropped by either platform over Afghanistan.

In Ellamy the Typhoons carried Enhanced UK 1000lb Paveway IIs. Very different to a GBU-16.

One other minor point - the markings on the ASRAAMs are incorrect - the brown band (for the rocket motor) should be further forward on the missile.

Those details aside, it's a great build of a kit that isn't easy to put together. Good job.

OK, any uggestions to buy a specific set of bombs in 48 and change them? (except Olimp)

quick search found this;

http://www.dacoproducts.com/KAsr15.php (colours are the correct pattern but wrong colour callouts on this one)

and this

other manufacturers make them as well IIRC.

Nobody has asked, so it's either common knowledge that I don't possess, or it's rude to ask for trade secrets, but if I may, how did you get the iridescence on the HUD?

Lovely model, nicely done!

The painting looks very realistic, I like it!

I found a minor flaw - as far as I know a the optics of the laser/recce pod in the middle always closed (the head rotates), if the gear is out, to avoid scratches. Looks like this picture on wikipedia (on different aircraft):

In your config the optics are under fire from the dirt of the front wheel.

It's not a mystery - Search on ebay "HUD FILM", or in nail shop "transfer foil - mirror effect" . Second version much cheaper on Aliexpress

Second idea - PIRATE IR sensor under canopy - I used ball from cartridge to pen

Hi Jurek.

Congratulations on a beautifully finished and presented Typhoon.  To be honest I've never been a big fan of this aircraft but I'm pretty sure that this is the nicest I've seen, and it's the first time that I've thought that yes maybe the plane can look good, and maybe I should get one of these.

Well done :goodjob:
