Paul J
Thought it about time I put these up before I forget. basically the Roden kit with 26 Decals. Only finished about 3 weeks ago. First couple pics shown without BOAC titles as very temporarily I opted to depict one of the Supers that was kept back with Vickers/BAC for tests. It flew in the main livery but without the company titles. But it did have some photographic sighting markings applied and seeing as I don't know the colours I left them off. However I later carried on and applied the reg and full BOAC Cunard titles. These last two show posing with it a little collectable I have . A Cindy doll cabin bag.

Turbofan
A Super Super! Definitely prefer it with titles! I've got one of these nearing completion at the moment, it's a lovely model. Those tailplanes are very fragile aren't they, I damaged mine too! Did you forget the aerials and other sticky out bits? Cheers, Ian Edited May 1, 2017 by Turbofan

Cheers, Ian Hi.You noticed the tailplane tip damage then! Yes it is a bit delcate. Re the antenna etc, I di leave them off as I feared The paint would get damaged and also most likely all get knocked off. Also I feel they are a tad oversize anyway. Meanwhile thanks all for comments and looking in. Any comments still welcome.
nimrod54
That's a lovely looking result Paul, and this scheme just sets it off nicely. I remember many a Saturday spent standing on the International Pier at Ringway watching these and B707's roll out. IIRC the B707 left at around 11:00am with the SVC10 leaving about 1hr later. The airport seemed to quieten down for a while after that before the afternoon flights started to arrive/depart.

bzn20
Excellent Paul. Great era, even greater 'plane ! BTW..Supers in BOAC Cunard service (65-66 ) used or had 4 reversers fitted. If they're decals, easy to do. well done, thanks for showing.
