adding photos

Hi Please can anyone help

how can I add photos from my PC to a thread

I cannot find away on how to do this?

other forums have a picture icon on the tool bar but this site appears not to have one?

You need to use a photo hosting site. Photobucket, Flickr and GOOGLE Photo are a few of the options out there.

sorry to be thick but I have tried the above and still cannot put photos on this site?

I don't want to add a link for people to click on I wold like to add a photos that shows directly on the page

Without looking into Mike's article the method is simple if using a PC

 

Go to the picture hosting site and open the picture to view it

Hover your mouse over the said picture and right click it with your mouse

The dialog opens "copy,paste,delete etcetera" and you highlight COPY

 

Return to the place here where you want to place it and use CNTRL on your keyboard clicking letter V

 

That will drop it exactly where you want it

 

Job done

 

This works to transfer pictures within BM too, right click-copy- right click-paste.  Done

A lot of people (myself included), have had trouble with Photobucket. I use Village Photos now and don't have any problems.

I use post image.org myself, photo bucket is not high on my Like List either

Thanks to "cathasatail" on here I started using this last week - it is brilliant & you don't even have to "join up" or "sign in" - so you don't get bombarded with loads of junk email.

 

It's brilliant - give it a go Ian - dead easy!
