jean
Hi Steve, so this is the leader of the pack still to come! It really looks the part! I keep finding these Easy Kits really amazing, considering what their concept entails. The dark blue is spot on, and the weathering very convincing. You could have gone to town there, as some Hellcats had so many scratches on the wings that half the paint was gone. How does it compare to the D 520? Beautiful job, as always JR

Beautiful job, as always JR Many thank's Jean, this is an early kit in the range so not as refined as the D520,the canopies have recessed lines which makes for difficult painting and the panel lines are almost non existent on the fuselage but that said cheap and easy to build so if you are more into the painting side of the hobby ideal.

davmarx
Hi Steve, I like very much the French Navy aircrafts of that era, like Corsairs and Bearcats... Your Hellcat looks really fantastic! Great job! Ciao. Davide
Dave N
Great looking Hellcat there Steve, loving that scheme. Not easy to do an all dark color (I imagine) and still have some life in the model- your weathering is very effective. Cheers, Dave

Giorgio N
I've always believed that the French Aeronavale markings suit perfectly the lines and the colour scheme of the Hellcat, this great looking model is a very convincing proof. Great finish and weathering, love what can be made with these easy kits
