This time Revell's example of the classic 1957 Chevy Bel Air. I really love this era of American cars and the Bel Air is probably the most famous! The kit went together with no problems and I thoroughly enjoyed the build. The kit is essentially built out of the box apart from a set of lovely metal wheels from Hiroboy. They are Mr Model 'Kick' wheels and the set comes complete with PE discs and resin calipers. The main body is painbted with Zero Paints Cobra blue and 2K clear. All chrome trim has been done with the amazing molotow Chrome pens. Bumpers were Alclad Chrome. I am chuffed to bits with the finished model almost going as far as saying it is one of my best models ever!! Anyway here are the pics! Thanks for looking! They do take a long time to dry and dull if touched too soon. They are great though. They are available in a couple of different nib sizes and refills are available. I'm now looking for a black paint pen, if anyone can recommend one that'd be great. Ive never really got on that well with Bare Metal Foil and when I saw these I thought they had to be worth a go! Great finish and so easy to use. Would really recommend them to anyone.
