Plasto
Hi, Here is my 1/48 Bf-109f. Its built OOB as a JG27 aircraft in N Africa circa 1942. The the kit is a straightforward build and considering it dates from the late 70's is nicely detailed and fitted well. It's painted in Gunze lacquer paints. Thanks for looking. nick32
Nicely done, and a great colour scheme, Wouldn't think the kit is that old by looking at it, great stuff.

WildeSau75
Nice Friedrich - from my point of view it's the best looking Me-109 and you did it justice. Cheers, Michael

Darby
The F is a good looking bird and this is the first time I've seen the old Airfix one built up. Very nice job indeed on such an old kit.

bruce bay
Really nice. I like the variations in tone - especially on image 3... Did you do an oil spot wash or something on this? Looks lovely. B
Plasto
Thank you all for you kind words. I'm glad you like it. The kit scrubs up well with a bit of TLC. I post shaded the base paint. This was then sealed decaled and an all over oil wash of burnt umber and black applied. This was sealed and then an oil dot filter applied using white black and burnt sienna oils. Once dry this was sealed and a bit of light chipping was applied with a silver water colour pencil and the exhaust staining added by using Vallejo wash airbrushed on. The model was photographed on a piece of white card and lit using a speed light shot through a diffusing umbrella and a constant output soft box with daylight cast bulbs. I used a Canon 5D and a Canon 24-105 f:4 lens. At around 70mm Images were PP'd in Lightroom. HTH Plasto
