AN-2 'Colt' - Milka Schokolade - Trumpeter 1/72

Recommended Posts

We certainly wait for this build Hans as it is such an iconic aircraft and it is great seeing it in this GB. I will follow with interest as this kit is also on my to-do list. I got a flight in one when visiting the former East German Air Force which was a great experience.

Cheers, Peter

Would it be OK to change the paintscheme to this? :hmmm::

I have found photos of the actual plane.

That Milka chocolate plane belongs to an aeroclub in the city I was born in. It would be cool to see that built.

YESSS!!!!:yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:

"Milka - die zarteste Versuchung - seit es Chokolade gibt!"

Couldn't help it - I grew up just 20 km north of the Danish/German border and watched a LOT of german television!

Yep, this brings back some old memories :) - will be fun mixing the paint ;)

You're right - I'm afraid the mixing of the colour will have to be based on close scrutinization of Milka Schokolade!

A hard job, but it has to be done!

PS Does anyone know of a plane in Guinness colours? :hmmm:

At which stage?

Looks like any colour is possible as long as it is black.

Looking forward to this Hans :).

I have the kit and would like to do it in Polish camouflage.

Nevertheless it has waited in the stash, as people report problems with the transparencies. I'm going to be interested to see how you beat it into submission.

Now, after reading the thread, I urgently need to go and eat some chocolate 🍫 !

All best regards

TonyT

Looking through a kit can be as much fun as building it. But this wings look like they have a vacuum inside them, sucking in the fabric cover :mental: They do look a tad better on the Bilek / Italeri kit (I thought the Trumpeter is the Bilek kit as well, but it looks it underwent some "enhancements").
