Persian Thunder...1/48 F-4E Phantom II Imperial Iranian Airforce

After the MiG-29 rollout, here´s my dads next jet project. He wanted to build a Phantom for a longer time now. Besides that the subject is related to my mother´s past, how so will be revealed when the model is finished.

Gonna use the old Hasegawa kit with either Hi-Decals or CAM Decals.

a start is done

looked at lots of model cockpits and found 50 shades of grey, my dad used Gunze H305 FS36118

work with the air intakes, already using the camo paints, Gunze H309 (FS34079 Green) and Tamiya XF-64 (Red Brown)

underside painted with Tamiya XF-19 Sky Grey for FS36622, does it look ok or is it a bit too dark?
