Absolutely gorgeous, very nicely done indeed!

My only comment would be that with such heavy exhaust stains I would expect to see fairly heavily weathered props as the airflow quickly strips the paint off the leading edges.

Hi My Friend Roman!!!!

Seem that after the trip to SEA you have came with a huge desire to be back to end your nicely done project.

The paint scheme you have chosen is wonderful  and the version superb, but the contrast of the colours you have used liekd me a huge lot!!!

Also, liked me the nice soft weathering job you have achieved here,  without a doubt one of the very best B-17 I have watched here, if not the very best with that level  of detail in all the airframe...now have an idea of make a camouflaged one when have a chance...

Thank you very much for sharing,

Cheers.

Applying the "wash" with artist's oils:

... and finally painting the exhaust stains with diluted Gunze Sangyo "Smoke" (H95).

I like everything about this model Roman :thumbsup2: .

It looks exactly how I picture B-17's in my minds eye, the faded Olive Drab, the patches of colour, exhaust stains and lovely nose and other art.

Thanks for the extra pictures showing stages of the build :)

:goodjob:

Best regards

TonyT
