Painted with Gunze acrylics. Photographs by Wolfgang Rabel of IGM Cars & Bikes. Thanks for your interest. Best wishes and happy Easter Holidays from Vienna! baldwin8
Lot's to love there, overall great results. Nice tribute build to one of the real workhorses of the Allies.
Doc72
Very nice model and an attractive paint scheme. I always liked olive drab with the medium green splotches (although it was arguably not the most effective scheme).

Gerrardandrews
Brilliant looking B17, and the Revell kit looks very detailed and so well made 😊
Brandy
Absolutely gorgeous, very nicely done indeed! My only comment would be that with such heavy exhaust stains I would expect to see fairly heavily weathered props as the airflow quickly strips the paint off the leading edges. Luis Alfonso
Hi My Friend Roman!!!! Seem that after the trip to SEA you have came with a huge desire to be back to end your nicely done project. The paint scheme you have chosen is wonderful and the version superb, but the contrast of the colours you have used liekd me a huge lot!!! Also, liked me the nice soft weathering job you have achieved here, without a doubt one of the very best B-17 I have watched here, if not the very best with that level of detail in all the airframe...now have an idea of make a camouflaged one when have a chance... Thank you very much for sharing, Cheers. Luis Alfonso
airbus320
That's beautiful! Love the contrast between the red outlined insignia and the camouflage. Top job! Chris
Roman Schilhart
Thank you for all the kind comments. Here's some construction pictures: Applying the "wash" with artist's oils: ... and finally painting the exhaust stains with diluted Gunze Sangyo "Smoke" (H95). TonyTiger66
I like everything about this model Roman . It looks exactly how I picture B-17's in my minds eye, the faded Olive Drab, the patches of colour, exhaust stains and lovely nose and other art. Thanks for the extra pictures showing stages of the build Best regards TonyT
