1/48 Kittyhawk SEPECAT Jaguar GR.1

Recommended Posts

That's it, I'm done!
Not then best of builds, just needed some TLC, and lots of dry fitting.
If I were to do this scheme again, I'd use a wider brush for the winter camo, the brush I used was the widest I had, and the result is what it is, but I think it's turned out okay.
Paints are a mixture of Vallejo Model Air and Akan
Blurred effect base is from Coastal Kits Display Bases.

Hello,Ian - For a few moments I thought I was on a hillside in the Mach Loop!

I like the Jaguar aircraft and your paint job on this build looks superb to me.Add the highly realistic display and we have a real 'Fast Cat'.Brilliant work indeed.

😉👍 All the best,Paul.

Wow, what an impressive and effective job you have done there. Even the angle that the plane is in adds to it. Bravo.

Lovely looking Jag. Great camouflage scheme, but the base is simply brilliant.

Remarkable camo and the display looks like it's actually moving - very eye-catching!

you must have a great sence of achievment with this kit .all the rotten reviews, how hard it is to turn into a decent model, and here's you ,not only finishing it but "knocking it out of the park" so to speak .that cropped overhead shot is almost indistinguisable from the real thing !!

tis what we all aspire to good sir:worthy:

Fantastic job, a lovely version of one of 41(F)'s arctic cats.

Another great end product of Kitty Hawks mess, its just a shame it takes so much extra work to achieve that standard.

Thank you.

The kit does test ones modelling skills, but lots of dry fitting and TLC, and it's not a bad kit really.

The Jaguar is good prcatice for my next build, Kittyhawk's new Su-17 Fitter! :D

Very very nice Ian. I like the plane and the camouflage. I thing you really made this Jaguar go fast combined with the diorama. The second to last picture looks so realistisc.

I googled the Coastal Kits and favorited their site.
