Hi All,

This one made it's way back to near to the top of the build queue.

OK.....  So I was spraying on the underside coat - and I spilt paint from the paint cup over the right wing. .  It's not a disaster, but it is annoying.  There's a bit of a dodgy patch on the underside, I'll give it fine rub down and re-spray later.

I wanted see some of the black primer showing through so it wouldn't look too factory fresh, but it hasn't quite worked so I think I'll give that a bit more work too.  Next though I'll put the blue camo colour, RAF Azure Blue seems to be a fairly good match.

Hi All

I'm basically done with the paintwork and have taken off all the masking except for the canopy.

It still needs some touch-up and the pitots etc. painting, but the end is in sight.

Hi All,

Well it's slow going - too many other kits on the go, but I've made a small step forward.

So, I've given it a gloss coat for the decals (thankfully no stencils to do) and put on the undercarriage.  There's still some detail painting to do and the missiles and recon. pod to be added.

Hi All,

Well, it's nice surprise to see I've got an extra week now.  I got caught up in last weekends Blitz Build I so didn't progress this build at all.  So now I've got no excuse for not finishing this one properly.

I've it given a matt finish, added the recon pod and Atoll missiles and done some detail painting.

I've now got the time to do some weathering and add the last bits of photo-etch.
