Nicely done Sam, I hope my little site helped with the build.

Your extensively comprehensive site has helped enormously! And of course, I once again thank you for the bomb bay parts- it really adds another level of detail to the build :)

In the 80's, the PR9 used to carry a variety of kit in the flare bay, ranging from a flare beam which was used to mount the other kit to and on to that could be mounted various items such as a baggage pannier, a coffin sized box that could be used for carrying anything from bags through to spare parts and deployment spares.  An IRLS pod could also be mounted to the flare beam but that necessitated special flare doors with fillets in to allow the pod to sit flush with the doors.  There was also a camera pod that looked like a B(I)8 gun pack went in the flare bay.  The strips on the fuselage just to the rear of the flare doors are crash strips which would set off explosive suppression columns in the belly tank.
