pigsty
Funny thing, how it's got longer and longer over the years. I'm the same age and I've only got wider.
Alex1978
Hardly to believe they have been around 50 years already and still going strong. I still favour the 737 over the Airbuses for the next 50 years....
Eric Mc
And for quite a few years Boeing and their competitors thought the 737 might have "missed the bus" when it came to twin engined, short haul jet airliners.. The market already seemed to be adequately catered for by the DC-9, BAC 1-11 and the Caravelle. Edited April 16, 2017 by Eric Mc
FLCH
Spent 6 years on the 300, 500,700 and the 800's great technology back in the mid 90's, the 757/767 was less sophisticated but a much better ride, trips and pay
stevehnz
I can still recall being told by our teacher the new NAC jet airliner was due to overfly Nelson soon after they'd taken delivery. I think they were 737-200s, & that was just over 48 years ago. A big deal back then. Steve.
