Excellent! The only scheme worthy of adorning a Spey Phantom.

Great Phantom mate   :thumbsup2:

Shame you had to paint it in that 'orrible dark grey colour,  RAF Air Defence Grey obviously being preferable...!!! (Sorry Darby, you know I always have to note the FAA slant in your posts        :poke:                        ;))

Inspiring build, Dean. Who makes the aftermarket ladder?

It was Flightpath's white metal and etched back seater's ladder and pilot's retractable footstep.

Cheers to everyone else who's commented, it's appreciated.

That is beautiful! Phantoms are so ugly that they are beautiful!!

Not being an expert on Phantoms (or on any aircraft really) can I ask if the canopies are supposed to be at different angles when opened?

I doubt it...but there's no reason why they couldn't be. I gathered lots of research pictures and some of them had the canopies set differently, probably because things like hinges do settle with use. I used the props from the kit to set the angles on them, so if they're not right, I'm blaming Hasegawa!

Thanks for the nice comments everyone, it really is appreciated...

Cheers,

Dean
