Junchan
It seems to be a special three-tone camouflage of Medium Grey FS 35237, European Green FS 34092 and Flat Black FS 37038. Jun in Tokyo https://www.flickr.com/photos/horaburo/albums

HTH, Andre Almost... the green actually was FS 34095 34097 was the colour used on the flat variant of the overall green scheme. FS 34095 is the correct green for the 3-tone scheme, the information comes from MIL-STD-2161A, one of the official documents covering USN and USMC colour schemes. Unfortunately I only have a 1993 copy, not the 1985 one where the scheme was first introduced, the later copy does not include the scheme for all types because some had seen the introduction of a new schemes with greys only. I've seen references to FS 34095 already being introduced in 1977 as an IR reflective paint for the overall green scheme but I have no hard information on this. Maybe some USMC enthusiast will come to the rescue on this subject. As for the original question, the scheme was known as Land Camouflage Scheme Edited April 7, 2017 by Giorgio N
