Mirage2Elvington, a Mirage IV in the UK

Hi guys,

 

I did a quick search and didn't noticed anything related, so...

 

If the timetable can be trusted, Mirage IV n°45 "BR" should be at Elvington's Yorkshire Air Museum by now, after a trip from Chateaudun AdA depot base.

 

Here's the whole story.

Looks like a visit to Elvington is on the list for my next trip to the UK.

We're thinking of a quick drive down to York to see the Mirage IV, not sure when but we've not seen the museum at Elvington, so it's something we need to do! It actually made the local TV news the other day, it's at the very bottom end of our region.

I think this is a magnificent achievement by the museum and I hope it will bring many visitors to Elvington.
