109 fan
I recently finished this out-of-the-box Fine Molds Bf 109 G-2 last night. Factory delivery scheme. It only took 57 years to see it finished.

Niles
It's rather nice to see one brand new in a perfectly clean finish unweathered. I like how that looks.

Gorby
Exceptionally good, particularly for 1/72! I also thought it was 1/48.

Dazey
I like the way you've done this 109 – beautiful finish. How was the Fine Moulds kit, do you mind me asking? Did anyone else notice the tail wheel in the photo of the original? Must've been reverse-parked... Regards, David
109 fan
Thank you all for the kind words. David, in my opinion the Fine Molds kit is by far the best 109 in 1/72 scale, and among the best in any scale.

Thanks! Sounds like an endorsement... I'll have to look around to see if they do some Emil versions. Regards, David
109 fan
Again, thanks to everyone for the compliments. David, Fine Molds make the following variants: F-2, F-4, F-4 Trop, G-2, G-4, G-6, G-10 and K-4, but no Emils. If you're buying a G-6, get the Finnish version since it has both the standard and Erla canopies. There have also been a few releases with special markings, metal tubes for the 20mm guns or pilot figures. My favorite 1/72 109 Emil kit is Tamiya.
