corsaircorp
Hello Dears, did'nt doing great these days, since the surgery is particularly painfull. Imagine 11 teeth ache at the same time in the same mouth. Painkillers, anti inflamatory and antibiotic and that absolutely distastefull mouth bath Here's the Boom correction Since everything has to be sanded, engraved and sanded again, I put a part from Bhind, painted in gray and Tadaaaam ! I also closed the second one More to come soon, doc say that pain will last for 3 to 4 days .. Hopefully ! See you later, take care. The Spadgent
Oh god! Hope you're ok. Do you actually have that much pain in your mouth or are you talking metaphorically about the build? The booms are looking smashing though. Take care dude. Johnny.

It is easy to do but you have to be precise whe blending the components. I can show you, there's no problem about that, I already did the same at my local club. rob Lyttle
That's a great scale model of a poppy you're building. The rocky base for your diorama is very convincing - nice weathering! Is that Mr Color acrylic "Poppy Red" you've airbrushed on the petals" 😃

TonyTiger66
I just caught up CC. I have run out of 'likes' but I will be back soon to put them here . Some great detailing on the Lightnings I like the mesh in the booms. The cockpit detail is great too. I'm really impressed by your resin moulding, I have resin mix components but haven't been sure what to use for the moulds; did you use silicon? You have excellent results. Good choice of beer! Chimay is superb, also Duval (a bit strong, but a good taste). I love white beer too, but they're hard to find here. Your Lamb meal looked delicious. I am interested to know the recipe, I know it's off topic, but what were the beans? Yum Great thread CC; lots of models, resin, great food, beer and beautiful flowers. Looking forward to the next instalment . All best regards TonyT

Looking forward to the next instalment . All best regards TonyT Hello Tony, Thanks for the kind words, you're right about the Duvel, the name is oftenly quoted to come from Duivel, that mean devil in flemish language, a well deserved name It was one of my "the choice" weapon for the one who tell me that they can drink a lot The recipe is very simple, take a lamb leg, with a sharp knife tear some tiny holes in the meat, in the holes, introduce some half cloves of garlic and pieces of parmesan Parmesan must be a block, not the gratted one because you have to cut some "bullet" in it, easy to introduce in the tiny hole. Then in the oven a 220°C for a good 40 to 50', I always keep an eye on it, regularly, I soak the leg with his juice, that way the meat stay tender and did'nt dry too much. Garlic and parmesan will give a real taste into the meat, of course before cooking, salt Pepper (I use the 5 bays Pepper, more tastefull) and herbes de provence (a mash of aromatic herbs commonly used here) I always add 2 or 3 bay leaf (laurel), if you like it , you can add some pieces of parmesan over the leg, in melting it will add to the taste, it is up to you ! The beans are "Flageolets" typically french, hope that it can be found in the store down Under, of course onions and garlic in the beans too. With that a Bordeaux is fine, but I oftenly use australian wine and voilà ! Very tastefull ! it is a easter meal generally, but I did'nt wait easter to do it Give it a try, Worth the pleasure !! Sincerely. Corsaircorp
corsaircorp
Ok Dears, Don't know what's happening for that while but I'm a bit lazy ! Hope that I answer heplfully. Sincerely. Corsaircorp

Let's just say I got very fat but enjoyed working there very much! Mrs. T. is from New Zealand and loves lamb; I showed her the recipe and she is going to make it soon . I'm responsible for making the beans . I'm sorry to hear about the undercarriage and Spitfire wing. Modelmaster make a surprisingly good paint remover if you need to take the crazed paint off of the Spitfire altogether. It's good that you could find an aftermarket undercarriage leg. Hope the wedding went ok All best regards TonyT

Yup Thank you, the wedding has been ok, weird a bit, a protestant lad and a muslim bride married in an abbey by a jew from chinese origin !!!! Absolutely oecumenic is'nt it ? He's my son simple is not easy enough and far less fun As both of them are musicians, there was a lot classical musicians but luckily enough there was 2 heavy metal player plus my son to make the third. I think that I will carefully erase the decal and use the Eduard ones ! Thank for the kind words, hope to see you in Belgium again; Sincerely. There's no UC for the Academy Lightning, only for Hasegawa and Monogram. Seem that the Hase one is more easy to fit, will try, I'll go back to the cockpits. Thank for the kind words. Sincerely.
