AEG G.IV Late - 1:32 Wingnut Wings

Recommended Posts

not much else I can say that hasn't already been said - this is utterly brilliant. I am not much of a WW1 fan but this is very inspirational

Great WIP and a fantastic result

Well done!

Great work, like this a lot, also I find it amazing how you flip between 1/32 scale WWI stuff through to 1/144 airliners.

Two opposite sides for the spectrum and both are well modelled.

Hello and what an excellent build of what looks like a cracking model. The engine cages and support struts look wonderful it must have been disconcerting sat in between those two thundering monsters!

I like the inclusion of the DVa as size reference.

I have just completed the J1 and enjoyed it a lot, the fit was so good I didn’t have to glue the outer wings sections, and it is a surprisingly big.

I loved the green and mauve camouflage so much so I will do my DFW C.V in the same colours.  I think the little D1 has a similar scheme too. Oh no! another theme coming on.......

Wow absolutely stunning!  The Fritz Rumey Albatros is very tasty too.

Reminds me that my Mum used to have an AEG washing machine back in the 60's

Great!

I am going to start my AEG G.IV eraly Version B. With dark dots on the underside!

What was your most difficult area or part of build?

It is after many WNW kits and after FE2b late.

Thank you in forward!

Happy modelling

I’ve commented on this before but will comment again John, bloody amazing 😲

I had the privilege of seeing this  this fantastic model last night as it happens.  Always fascinating to see these beautiful models together in the display case.
