Darth Vader
It would be light a/c grey under the wings.
tweeky
looks like the hooks snapped !! you can tell she's been repainted the area under the wing (stress panel) was left natural metal.
stever219
Humbrol equivalents for Dark Sea Grey are 27 (matt) and 164 (satin), 167 for Barley Grey/Camouflage Grey (satin) and 166 for Light Aircraft Grey (satin). You'll probably want to use the satin paints for all three as they should provide a better base for a gloss coat prior to transfer application. tweeky
Paint it in the Saudi colours as she was originally or like XS903 with black fin and spine.
Booty003
I think that the two tone looks quite smart - there is a good solid demarcation between the greys which will look great on a kit. The red intake cover will add to the colour as well. IMHO of course!!! Phil
stever219
One of the Thunder City two-sweaters was overall gloss black, but I can't remember if either of the single-sweaters was so finished.
