Bell209
Could someone with access to a Westland Scout please measure the skid crosstubes diameters for me? The crosstubes are the bars that suspend the skids and go across the fuselage, attaching to the underside. I believe the rear is thicker than the forward one? I spent most of last night stretching sprue to various thicknesses but none look right... Thanks in advance!
AMB
They looks exactly the same thickness to me. Pics in the new Warpaint book on the Scout & Wasp (see Reviews)
Bell209
Thanks Adrian, I don't suppose you have actual dimensions?
Bell209
I've managed to find a photo I could scale from. Looks like the front crosstube OD is about 1.75 mm (at 1/48 scale) and the rear 2 mm. New sprue stretched to size! Thanks for looking all.
