Tango 1
Hello! Here is my latest attempt at diorama modelling, Tamiya's 1/35 LRDG command car with Masterbox figures. The kit was a Christmas gift from a friend and upon looking at the kit I referred to it as a diorama in a box! As it turned out most of what you see is from that box just with some additions form another Masterbox kit to set the scene. Hope you like what I've done! Happy Modelling! PhantomMajor
Nice work. I'd like to point out that the LRDG usually had a lot more in the way of stores and provisions loaded onto their vehicles. As far as I can remember the Tamiya kit doesn't even have "greedy boards" to help load more items on the truck.

Bullbasket
Two LRDG dio's in one day. Great finish all round. John.
stevehnz
I like that a lot. My only comment is that those chaps look a bit too tidy, obviously early on in the patrol, or maybe a Guards patrol. Far too spik & span for one of the Kiwi patrols who normally looked like Brigands, in fact a book about Kiwis in the LRDG was called Bearded Brigands, hence my reservation but only a tiny one, all in all a lovely pierce of modelling & super wee dio.
