They worked those poor little trucks to death and you have sure captured the look, the weathering is perfect.  Excellent job and I love that tarp, sure adds to the finished product and it must have been a real chore.

I just love working with tissue, white glue and paint....NOT... but it certainly does look like a real tarp doesn't it?

Take care,

Lloyd

Wonderful finish and weathering to the truck, it looks really worn out and as others have said the tarpaulin looks 100% real.  I like the load too, complete with Wehrmacht stamps on the boxes - where did it come from?

Hi Sanfandragon, thanks for the kind words.

I drew the boxes in Adobe Illustrator, then print, cut out and fold them. The Wehrmacht stamps I found on net. ^_^

Best tarpaulin ever - period (with apologies to Sean Spicer), how did you do it?

Hi Andrew, I glued the 2 ply tissue paper with student glue, then I glue another layer of tissue paper for all the edges to strengthen it more. When cure just spray some primer or flat coat to protect it.

Straps make from masking tape, buckle and rings made from flattened thin wire.

Here is the the only in progress photo for the tarpaulin.

Dunno how I missed this, but better late than never.... and better a model by Sinhow than by me, ever!

Stunningly superb work. The weathering is simply perfect, and as everyone has commented, the tarp is truly magnificent. Models of this quality deserve more exposure than they ever get.

Thanks for sharing,

Rearguards,

Badder
