Scott Garard
Bill, Get in touch with Peter Maloney at Hawkeye Models Australia: [email protected] Back in the day, Peter was a surface finisher at 34 Squadron who worked on the Viscounts. Some info I gleaned from him: -Wings were the same as the 700 series aircraft. -Engines were the uprated type with bulged cowlings -Only lengthened forward of the wing -Rear pressure bulkhead was moved aft and the door repositioned -Both aircraft were originally built for a cancelled TAA order -A6-435 ex Union Carbide VIP aircraft -A6-436 ex Shah of Iran VIP aircraft -Both aircraft kept the interiors that they were purchased with -Always flew with slipper tanks And some conversion info: Cheers!
