superbly executed model, don't see this type very often.

Always wondered why it has been so forgotten, as it was one the first jets, Airfix 1/24 kit would be nice and expected, considering its Historical importance, if WW2 had gone onto 46, would have helped win 🏆 the war, and first jet to land on carrier, I know my text is on about the vampire, but very closely related.😊

That's a really well executed model, the assembly and finishing are top class. It is a difficult kit to get right, ask me how I know, and you have!

Love it - looks top notch. Great to see a Venom - seldom enough.

Which colors did you use?

Cheers,

Michael

Now that's just beautiful. Very well modelled and displayed. The Suez stripes certainly lift it just enough to stand out from the crowd.

Adding to the previous comments - why hasn't a well known manufacturer picked this subject as one of its new tools as yet? Even the  non-mainstream market seem to have dodged this aircraft.

To quote a famous movie - "Build it and they will come"..

Cheers.. Dave

I really like that. Great building, painting and photography. I can't believe how clear that canopy looks either, looks like it really is glass.

That looks really good.  A thoroughly clean build.  I like the soft but not too soft demarcation between the green and gray in the upper surface camouflage,

Always nice to see something less than ordinary, always adds to the conversation. Congratulations.

Any reason why you used a vacu canopy ?

Typical reason:

Kit glass isn't satisfactory transparent, it is thick and ejection seat doesn't fit in close position

Beautiful build,

40's/50's aircraft are just so much prettier than their modern counterparts.

That's a cracking Venom!! I reckon masking those stripes must have been fun....:nah:  Very neat and tidy paintwork! Wouldn't it be nice if Airfix did one of these in 48th? We can dream!
