I will mount it temporarily on a base until I have a suitable scene to put it in.

 

I have rigged it with stretched sprue - it's quite difficult figuring out how to do rigging for the bent bit.

 

 

I had originally thought to make it in a form convertible back to new condition but I think I would just build another one.

The finish coat was Testors Dullcote... and that completes it

 

 

and it's been mounted on a temporary base with the not yet completely painted Lt McNamara firing a round from his Very pistol to attempt its destruction.

Well the Martinsyde is great, but you are tormenting us airliner modellers with that part done 717 instruction sheet

Ha - I didn't notice the scrap paper in the airbrush booth - I better "edit" it. The 717 is on the way - all the bits are here, just doing the instructions at the moment.

 

I find it very interesting that WW1 is such a minority interest, even less popular than airliners. Actually my main interest, like most on this site, is WW2 but I have been seduced occasionally into airliners and WW1 and quite enjoyed it.

You should be tempted into more WW1 types judging by the standard of this build. This is an unusual type and very well and originally presented. Looking forward to seeing more of your WW1 builds.

Very nicely done. I wouldn't have expected that by looking at the spures of your first posts.

If i can get one of the rare WWI helicopters I would give it a try.
