Mike Esposito
I just saw a great youtube video on the new B737 MAX. https://youtu.be/1XEsSRqnOwc Now I want one! Does anyone have an idea, or rumor if one will be released in 1/144? I should think Zvezda will eventually release one. Hopefully soon.. Jessica
The new Zvezda kit is not going to be a MAX, but I'll bet that there will be conversion kits offered before not terribly long.
UpperDeck
How different is a MAX, in a modelling point of view ? This is all I know : - LEAP-1B engines - winglets - conical APU section - slightly taller nose ldg If the fuselage is a few frames shorter/longer or the wheels a few cm smaller/bigger, that is easy to deal with but how about the wings and main landing gears ? Are the identical ? Cheers !
Mike Esposito
From what I heard, the tail section will need the biggest change. I hope they release a whole kit. Don't fancy converting.

Sabre_days
The APU is tooled separately and although it looks like the wingtip options in this boxing are the original wingtips with no winglet, early style winglets and the new split scimitar type, some of the CAD images they released during development showed what are definitely MAX winglets. I'd say the odds that a MAX is in the works look excellent (after all, it makes good business sense for Zvezda to be prepared to keep their tooling as relevant as they can for as long as possible, given that the MAX was already flying while their kit was in development and enters service shortly after it hits the shelves). If not, it's only a matter of time before someone produces a resin conversion...I just hope Zvezda will eventually release a P-8 Poseidon and a Wedgetail as well.
