Lawzer
Currently doing the airfix mossie and will be going for am decals. The one I'm doing now won't have tanks but I have my eye on an fb kit on ebay but for the other aircraft I'd want to do does have the tanks but you need the nf kit for the tanks.... oh and the other thing I'd need would be the double stack rockets which appear to be mounted outboard of the tanks. cheers Ian Edited March 16, 2017 by Lawzer
Stephen
Ultracast do 100gal tanks http://www.ultracast.ca/products/48/118/default.htm The double stack rockets would need to be scratch built as they don't currently exist in aftermarket although they are coming from Aviaeology https://www.hannants.co.uk/product/AAES48001

silverkite211
Do you know anyone that has a Monogram Mosquito? They came with slipper tanks.
Troy Smith
regarding rocket rails http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/57508-banff-mosquitos/ http://www.network54.com/Forum/149674/thread/1239369620/Banff+Wing+Mosquito+rocket+armament+question. Which may help? I have a Monogram Mosquito, I'll check the tanks if you need. The Mono Mossie is not the best accuracy wise, so I don't know how good the tanks are. Let me know if you need them. The Tamiya kit has the tanks in every boxing I think, note the engine sprue. https://www.cybermodeler.com/hobby/kits/tam/kit_tam_61062.shtml but a chekc here of the Hyperscale review http://acc.kitreview.com/mosquito100galtanksreviewbg_1.htm mentions the Tamiya tanks are 50 gallon, and the Ultracast are 100 gallon Ultracast's UK distributor is Sovereign Hobbies https://www.sovereignhobbies.co.uk/collections/ultracast Note, no 1/48th Mosquito has accurate tyres, but Ultracast do them. Jamie is a member here as well. HTH T PS Looks like Frieghtdog do some 100 gal tanks too http://www.freightdogmodels.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=27_30&products_id=1067&osCsid=0fbdef0108cf35fc6845e9ecc207232d Edited March 17, 2017 by Troy Smith add details and links

PFlint
I have 2 copies of Tamiya's PR IV / B IV kit and I am not using the rockets from them. you are welcome to them if you want them. they are what is shown in this photo : https://www.cybermodeler.com/hobby/kits/tam/images/tam_mosquitonf13_parts6.jpg
Lawzer
Thanks for all the info / offers folks Having looked at the photos I have I *think* they were fitted with the 50 gal tanks so Troy I may take you up on your offer! I found a good picture of the dual rocket launchers and they look just to be the standard rails and it's actually the rockets themselves that are stacked (as in 2 rockets joined and half the fin missing from each). I have a set of rockets in the beaufighter kit that I won't be using so they will fit the bill. All this is dependent on getting the kit of ebay - if it goes to silly money I'll put it on hold. Thanks again! Ian
