Watcher
I've just struggled to spray some Galeria Matte and wonder whether I hadn't thinning it enough (with water). Can anyone offer any advice. TIA Matthew
John Laidlaw
Yup - thin it with Isopropyl Alcohol, at a ratio of about 60/40 thinners/varnish. It'll stop it beading on the surface and it'll dry a little quicker. Just mist it on, though, otherwise it'll run. It will give a lovely finish :). malpaso
I found it gave a great finish just brush painted neat. However, I now have an airbrush so thanks for the suggestion of thinning with IPA.
colin
I find Galeria quite thick and you can thin it out too much trying to get it thin enough to spray. I open up the air pressure and use a .3 needle to try and aviod this.

fewr9fkr9595
Yeah I sprayed it neat too. Just used a larger needle/higher pressure 👍🏿
Mitch K
Add some acrylic flow improver as well, which drops the viscosity significantly.
