Vintage figurines

Recommended Posts

Thought I might shows some figures that I did about 30 odd years ago that I keep to this day in my Cave.  I still have an interest in Napoleonics but really nowadays prefer to stick with Aeroplanes which I think are easier on my eyes..

The Napoleonics are all 90mm but I cannot remember the Manufacturer now but they were brilliant figures..

The grouping is called Soldiers Tale and it is supposed to represent a Hussar of the 9th Regiment boring a 13th Dragoon and an Empress Dragoon trumpeter silly with his tales.  By his uniform the Empress Dragoon Trumpeter is either new in the Peninsular or has just been re-equipped.

I'm impressed by your paintwork on clothes, armour and details of all those figures  I don't see any reason that would prevent you to attain the same result on eyes, maybe it's just a matter of finding a method that works for you. I'll be glad to share a few tips, if you're still interested in figures :)
