bianfuxia
Oh cool! I've had that kit for ages - wondering if it will ever be built. I hope it fits in the 70s NATO-v-Warpac timeframe, surely it does huh?
Hewy
I think its good ,i reckon the victor had finished its role a a nuclear bomber by the late 60s but they were as we know converted to tankers and some recce duties,,i like the victor Glynn
Icarus
I am still trying to decide which of the two appropriate (but very faded) decal schemes to use - either 232 OCU (Marham 1975, scheme #3 below), or No. 55 Sqn (Marham 1979, scheme #1 below). Rest assured that this vintage plastic model, of a vintage V-bomber to tanker conversion, will qualify for this GB! Col.
An excellent subject choice Nice to see the classic Matchbox kit get some love after all the hype the Airfix one has taken.
Icarus
OK. It has been a bit of time since I last updated this, but I'm on leave this week. Yesterday: Today: Loving this lump of multicoloured retro plastic. There are enormous gaps in some of the joins. but it is still great fun to build.
