Denford
Does anyone have a safe method of removing decals (crumpled and dried out) without damaging the paint/surface under it?
fewr9fkr9595
As long as they haven't been clear coated try micro set (blue one)
Fazer
You could try a strip of sellotape over the top of the decal & rip back, worked for me on a old kit!😀 Mark D
stevehnz
I've done the sellotape thing but only on enamels, not sure how it would go with acrylics, one hears so many horror stories after masking, let alone sellotape. Steve.
iSteve
I tried using Microset but really didn't work much. I had used Microsol when I put the decal down and I think it worked too well. Used a bit of Tamiya tape which took some off but don't want to push my luck and start pulling up the paint. Any other suggestions?
