Sabre_days
Looking over the archives, it strikes me that as far as I can tell, we've never had an STGB for a ship, boat or submarine... Anyone else interested in a Flower-class corvette STGB? Over 260 ships serving in 23 navies, as well as numerous postwar civilian conversions (ocean rescue tugs, tramp freighters, small passenger liners, whale-catchers, lightships, etc.), so plenty of potential variety. And with the Matchbox/Revell 1:72, Revell 1:144 and Mirage 1:350 kits available along with various resin and cast metal kits, there's a reasonable range of possible kit options. 1. Sabre_days 2. Bonhoff
It'd be a challenge doing a 1/72nd one in the usual timescale I'd be game though.....
Robert Stuart
But approachable in 1/700 scale - I've been wanting an excuse to try the old White Ensign Flower Class models for some time now http://atlanticmodels.net/white ensign range kits/1-700 scale kits.html
davepb
Or you could try a Mirage offering in 1/350?

allyby
How many do you need for the go ahead.
Sabre_days
25 for an STGB. The good news is that In The Navy is already well over the 30 required for a regular GB, so as long as it's selected in the poll this summer there's somewhere else Flower-class corvettes will fit in next year's GB schedule (as least those in naval service).
