Hello fellow modelers,

My area of model building is WW1 aircraft. Every genre and subject pulls at me though. It is so hard to show discipline but I have found if I don’t, I spend more time thinking about building and less time building.

I am an average builder with acceptable results. I prefer the overall look of a built model and limit my detailing to a level that is probably less the most. I like the idea of OOTB building but know as time goes on I will probably not be satisfied with that. The Wingnut Wing kits make OOTB so much easy to practice though.  When it comes to weathering and accuracy verses artistry, I lean towards accuracy. That is just my preference for my building because I like both in other’s models.

:welcome: to the fold, it's good to have you here :)  Britmodeller by name, and we do still have a little slant in that direction in terms of subjects, but we've certainly eclectic in subject matter and location of our members.  Pretty glad about that, actually ^_^
