andymoore
Well, just over four weeks to go till the summer & it's still not finished. But I'm nearly there, just a handful of weaponry & then I'm gonna call it a day on this one. I went to Old Warden last weekend & can't wait to get cracking on something a little more interesting than grey. Lots of work today putting bits of missiles together, but the sun was out & I couldn't resist taking her out in the sunshine... There's a 1/48 Hawker Fury waiting in the wings too.

andymoore
The navigation light is the wrong colour isn't it? I'll try pinging that off next time I get a chance
andymoore
OK, I pinged off the nav lights - the red one went back on perfectly, the green one has been lost to the carpet monster. So I add a drop of micro crystal clear, waited for it to dry & then painted it green WP_20170520_15_55_04_Pro_LI by Andy Moore, on Flickr following that I needed to get some pics of the plane as it is before adding more weapons. so I cut a couple of pieces of wood and jammed them into a chair... WP_20170520_14_48_00_Pro_LI by Andy Moore, on Flickr Then I took some pics using my Canon at 300mm - to get the same aspect as in the first pic in this post. then I used paintshop pro to paste the image over the top of the original, and then spent 30 minutes or so erasing sections of the new layer. Here is the final result IMG_3361_f by Andy Moore, on Flickr just another 5 missiles to finish off & then I'll post a couple more pics of her in her final resting place.

andymoore
Well it's finally hanging up, I'll fit another sidewinder at some point, but this one has nearly done me in - back to something more wings & lots of ez-line next.... I won't be doing an RFI for this one - it's quite simply not good enough.
