Graeme
This is the Aoshima 1/24 Toyota Crown (not a car we see in the UK), and modified as part of the Japanese 'StanceNation' scene Unfortunately it's a kit that simply barely fits together - the chassis seems to be about 3mm too short to fit under the body properly, and in the the end I got sick of it, threw some paint on it and had done with it. I may look at doing another one at some stage...the box top illustration shows it in pink with sky blue wheels! and yes, the wheel angles are meant to look like that - they run excessive camber with specially designed tyres. Check out either http://www.stancenation.com or http://stancewars.com/ for more info (they each also have FaceBook pages) Graeme
Pete in Lincs
It has the look of a stretched Camry, I wonder if that's why the chassis doesn't fit? That camber must be hell on the tyres!
Schwarz-Brot
I always feel like looking at a cartoon when I see this stance scene stuff. The Japanese tuning scene has some real oddities to offer. While the paintjob isn't perfect in places you captured the look and feel of those cars quite well. And I am sure blue and gold looks better than pink. Graeme
That's an interesting thing - I just noticed, due to Schwarz-Brot's post, that the paint - Rover Kingfisher Blue - looks blue in the pictures, but in real life it's a very green shade
