Me from Manchester (England not New Hampshire)

Hi everyone,

 

Just a little introduction from me. I used to make models when I was a kid (39 now) but have recently returned to the hobby after my Mum got me the 1/144 Revell Globemaster for Christmas  a year and a bit ago for no apparent reason. The kit looked a bit complicated so I thought I'd better make a few smaller models to get my hand back in and then things escalated rapidly and I now have 114 different models in the stash (according to Scalemates) and I have taken over a room in our house. I don't really have any preference as to scale/subject matter/era (at the minute I've got a 1/72 Harrier Gr.1, 1/32 Red Arrows Hawk and a 1/32 Chevy Camaro on the go and I'm putting the finishing touches to a 1/72 Tomahawk). Thanks for the warm welcome and for all the great tips I've found on here.

Hi Laerte,

 

No ships yet but I have finished the Airfix LCVP which I quite enjoyed (no clear parts!) but that is definitely a boat not a ship, I do fancy doing a ship in the near future though.
