RidgeRunner
A few more, taken at North Weald. The first two (T-6 and the Stearman 75) were taken when I went up for a jolly in my mate Norman's T-6 (the one shown). It was part of the Harvard team (a la Gary Numan). Norman flew for David Gilmour too (the Stearman, for example). The other shots are from one of the fly-in days. The last one (Navy 69) was owned by another friend, Gavin Keegan, and is another that I've been lucky enough to fly in. Excuse my indulgence! nuuumannn
Very cool pics; like North Weald, a great place to photograph aeroplanes. I was going to ask, doesn't that Stearman belong to Intrepid Aviation; Gilmour's?
RidgeRunner
Absolutely. He had a Gnat too, if I recall. Norman Lees, my friend (sadly now departed this world) used to fly for him, amongst others. Martin
