Stug IIIG

HL-10

Recommended Posts

This is a weekend build of the Revell 1/72nd scale Stug IIIG.

Straight out of the box, a thoroughly enjoyable build :)

Painted with Tamiya acrylics.

That really is very impressive - especially in 1/72! Like some of the others have said above; that could easily pass for 1/35! Very well done. :worthy:

Kind regards,

Stix

You have big hands as I too thought it was 1/35.

I could never work on something that small as I have to be able to see it, and find it.

I've build just about everything WWII German, well maybe not, but I've never built a Stug.

Looking at yours makes me want to try a Stug III or IV, but in 1/35 scale of course.

Take care,

Lloyd

Thank you all very much! :)

I'm so glad you like the little Stug.

I haven't built 72nd scale armour in such a long long time. It was fun, and an opportunity to try out my new airbrush.

Thanks again, Angelo.

I built my first StuG last year and  I have to say I loved it. This despite it being a very old Dragon Imperial Series that had been sitting on my LHS shelf for over 20 years and had lots of flash, bad mouldings and a poor instruction sheet)

I am now hooked on StuGs and have Tamiya's StuGIV waiting in the wings.

Rearguards,

Badder
