Fishbone
Bounty time, baby! In conjunction of the 3rd anniversary I've joined this dark side hahaha, I made myself a F-14D Super Tomcat. Hobbyboss 1/72 F-14D Super Tomcat VF-2 Bounty Hunter, BuAerNo.163894 NE100, USS Constellation CV-64, 2003. Sobby_23
Outstanding attention to detail, she looks fantastic. I really like the weathering around the wing sweep area. Great photography too!

Thanks, I use tamiya black enamel as the base for those sweep stain...clear coat to protect it and then made those oil stain with AK products, this two. Giorgio N
This is fantastic model, love the way you reproduced the weathered finish these aircrafts get after a few months on a carrier. Did you use the original Hobbyboss decals or are these aftermarket ?

Hi, original Hobbyboss decals, they are very generous when come to decals - 3 themes.

That's good to know ! I have the same kit and the decals in the box don't look great, the red in particular looking too light. On your model though they look very good, I may use them without fear now

alex
Nice build, very good weathering! Hobby Boss has in fact some good decals, but their lack of research can lead to some strange results. Alex
