Ryan Hothersall
The old 1:72 KP MiG-19S Farmer C kit built in Soviet markings. Since this is an old kit, fit in some places wasn't the best, such as wings and tail planes, so needs quite a bit of filler in places. Decided to sand off the raised panel lines completely as I had sanded them off in places while filling gaps. Cockpit is very simple with just a seat and instrument panel, and canopy is typical KP, not the right size for the hole. Needed quite a bit of weight in the nose, so used wire in places to strengthen the undercarriage. Overall colour is Tamiya XF-16 Aluminium. Decals came from the spares file as the kit decals were unusable. They are some left over Mastercraft decals. They went on without any issues. DennisTheBear
Nice! I believe I have this one in the stash. Hope I can make it look as good as that. DennisTheBear
TonyTiger66
Very nice Ryan. I had to double take to see that you really did take All the panel lines out. On the Heller, its rivets, lots of them. It looks very smart and right. I like the comparison with the F-100, she looks quite petite in comparison.
