Hello folks. One of my main interest is the Regia Aeronautica. The three tones camos are thrilling to do but they are also so pleasant. The MC202 from Hasegawa is a composite of a 202 and a 205 and requires some work to get to the proper rendition, there are now some very good books dealing with this plane and most of the modifications are easy to do even for a beginner. One plus is the recent Eduard wheel bay which save a lot of time and pain as Hasegawa did not do a good job on that part. The model shown here is one of the first serie, without the sand filter, no wing guns,no compensated tail surfaces and rudder. The camo is typical of Macchi with Verde Mimetico 2, blotches of Giallo Mimetico 4 and Brown blotches in Marrone Mimetico. Undersides are Grigio Mimetico, a rather dark shade. Plane is from the 97° Sq, 4° Stormo, the famous "Cavallino rampante". Best regards.

A brilliant rendition of the the Macchi.  The paint finish is exceptionally good.  Isn't this the 'fried egg' scheme?  I've always thought the C.202 a very good looking aeroplane.
