roymattblack
This was tested about 18 months ago at 1/7 scale. It looks as if they've seen sense - it's now out at 1/8. https://www.hachettepartworks.com/buildmini/ Roy. rs2man
Looks nice , but I'm already subscribing to the Shelby Mustang & E Type , so I'll have to give this one a miss .

bentwaters81tfw
The back window looks a bit too deep, and no mats/carpets? I used to drive a Mini pickup at work, and even that had rubber mats on the floor, and the original Mini SDL had carpets.
Séan Pádraig
Ummm, Plus: It's a Mini. . . It's a Mk.1. . . It's a Cooper 'S'. . . It's a 1:8 scale. . . It's a 1:8 scale Mini Mk.1 Cooper 'S' (did I say that already) Minus: It's not a Morris It's not a Super Deluxe 850 It's not Almond Green (GN-37) It's not £500 (Pocher money) It looks a little off in some details But this is just a personal preference of course... I'd still rather have one than not have one however timing is a major factor and now is just not the right time for me... Hopefully it will be a success and many will buy one so I can possibly pick up a complete set of all 100 parts at a better price in the future. Scratchbuilder
It seems in any scale, the simple Mini is one of the hardest cars to get right in model form. Vitesse did it with a 1/43rd diecast. Airfix did a pretty good job on it too. Martin
