SallysDad
When you have the sanding finished, will you coat it with something like varnish or future, to get a smooth surface for painting. Or do you think you will coat it with plastic sheet? Andrie, do you have more accounts of building kits on this site, so I can look at them? Thanks. Ozzyman69
One more step of my WIP here. This is a ship outboard safety (catcher) screen making (4 pieces) and then installation. And also, preparation for the coating of the finish surfacer is in progress. Edited May 27, 2017 by Ozzyman69

Greenshirt
@Ozzyman69, that rampy thing on the front of the flight deck is called a "bridle catcher". The Viggie used a bridle for catapult launching, and the bridle ends continued forward and down as the aircraft flew away, catching on the ramp so it could be reused when the shuttle stopped at the forward end of the catapult run. Yours is much too large for the scale. Picture: https://goo.gl/images/yPDCzk Viggie on a catapult, ready to launch: https://goo.gl/images/pkQxkq Model is looking great!
